Friday night

Friday night our co-workers Susan and Suzan went to get their haircut, so while they did that the rest of us waited for them at the Goldfish. It is a bar that looksas if it would fit perfectly into Hogsmeade from the Harry Potter books. The walls are covered with things from small statues of Buddha to books hanging from small chains. It even has a goldfish floating in a large vase. My guess is that he is the mascot of the bar. My co-worker Maxine and I were talking about the décor and she said that you have to go into the bathroom it is even weirder. So I wondered into the bathroom with my camera. I quickly took some pictures of the décor in the bathroom. They had this small black and white TV playing on a random channel which was strange. They also had a pyramid of feminine pads sitting above the toilet. I guess if you needed one then that was the place to get one. It was funny because back home they are usually in a machine. I went back out to the others and we all laughed about the pictures I had just taken.

Susan and Suzan were finished with their haircuts so we started to walk to the restaurant Noovi. We made it to the restaurant, ate dinner and had good conversations. The restaurant is down the street from the British Embassy, so there were many foreigners enjoying the good food. We had a great time hanging out with our co-workers and walking around Sarajevo. We were able to see places that we would have never seen if we were walking around by ourselves that night.
