The bus was alot of fun. Since it was the weekend of Remembrance Day, the public transportation had to stop on Moday at 11:00a.m. for two minutes to remember those who had fought in wars. So we busied ourselves by taking pictures. I was trying to zoom in on a resturant across the street, but everytime a bus was passing. So it took me along time to get the picture that I was trying to get.

After the two minutes we were back on the move once again. We did get off along the way, but Zack is going to write about some of those places.
We are now on our way to Madame Tussard's Waxworks. A little information about Madame Tussard. She did wax casts of heads lopped off during the French Revolution (e.g. Maria Antoinette). She took her show on the road and ended up in London.
This was a great place and we had a lot of fun. Our ticket allowed us to have photos taken with several famous people, walk through a hall of terror, ride a ride that reminded me of Disney's Haunted House ride, and then go into a Marvel exhibit that was SO cool. It was probably one of my favorite things here besides getting my picture with Johnny Depp. I think Zack enjoyed his photo moment with Nicole Kidman.

Zack met a knight Sir Patrick Stewart, too bad he is a wax figure! |
One day I will dance like her. |

After we walked through the room with all of the famous people we headed to the dungeon area. This is where the wax casts got a little gory. Beware of the images that follow. You will just have to remember that they are wax.
The wax casts did seem life like. We were able to hear a person talking about how they create the wax casts. They select the color of the skin from a palette of choices as well as the hair and even the color of the eyes.
It was pretty amazing to walk through the wax works. It may be a little creepy to make wax casts of people who are still alive or dead, but it was pretty neat to see them all in different poses.
We ended our tour of Madame Tassaud's Waxworks by going to the Marvel Exhibit. It was just as good as the other parts maybe even better. What a great day!
Ohhhh... Jake is going to be sooo jealous you saw Iron Man that close!! Great pics!
